Case Study: The VIP Exhibition

The Client: One of the World's Leading Manufacturers of industrial Print Equipment

The ChallengeTo ensure attendance and control of decision makers at client's VIP Restaurant and stand at print industry's flagship event. Client was providing chauffeur pick up and 3 course quality meal over at the 7 day event and needed to manage that so visitors would be spread throughout the week, with each receiving the required attention.

The AQL Solution:AQL contacted every high profile decision maker invited by the client to not only ensure attendance but to investigate areas of future purchasing interest. Questions were agreed with the client prior to contact, so client's sales executives were well briefed when meeting with prospect at the event. Contact with nearly 500 decision makers would need to be made within a week. AQL called each contact up to five times.

A secondary research project for an affiliated company of this client gave insight into the markets of it.

The Result:Client was able to manage the event, as required. Customer loyalty was reinforced, because of the close contact with decision makers, big contracts were won and more were in the pipeline. Client felt AQL contributed greatly to the success of the event.
